Community Broadband

A2D has co-developed a replicable model for delivery broadband to unserved and underserved communities. A2D's Converged Broadband Infrastructure(TM)(CBI) Platform is the world's first infrastructure with the inherent capacity to deliver up to (5) five voice, (5) five video and (5) five data service providers over a single optical signal. A2D's CBI converts the native service signa of multiple inetrconnected service providers and delivers their services to each subscribed end-user. At the subcriber's premise, the optical signal is then converted back to the native service signal of the subscribed provider.

A2D has developed a broadband funding model that effectively leverages both public and private resources in order to implement our networks. Unlike service provider centric models, which rely on funding to be raised and invested into a signle organization, A2D is able to raise the capital it needs at the project level. As a result, A2D can leverage the resources of multiple infrastructure investor groups who are focused on certain communities to implement our projects simultaneously.

Finally, A2D's goal is to ensure that within each broadband project we develop, the infrastructure assets are ultimately transfered to each participating governing body whereas A2D will be given a long-term agreement to operate and managed the network.
