The eCommunity Program was created to enable each community stakeholder to leverage the A2D Neutral Broadband Gateway to ensure that everyone, regardless of their socio-economic condition, has access to the digital services, content and resources they need to improve their own quality of life. eCommunity addresses the following barriers that exist in many households across America:

1. My community does not have access to a broadband.
2. I do not have a broadband-ready computer at home.
3. No one within my household knows how to effectively use a computer.
4. I can not afford to maintain a service subscription with any broadband service provider.

Our program addresses these barriers by:
A. We ensure that everyone is connected, independent of any commercial service provider.

B. We partner with community outreach organizations who provide free or subsidized computers coupled with computer literacy training ensure that everyone is ready to adopt broadband.

C. Once the home is ready to receive broadband, our always-on, always neutral eCommunity Gateway enables multiple service providers to compete to deliver the broadband-based services people want, at a price they can afford.

D. For any household, that can't afford the cost of broadband, we enable national, regional and local community outreach organizations as well as local, state and federal government agencies, to provide direct access to their broadband-based content and services for free.
